因為下週就要去和牧師meeting, 討論一下ceremony的形式,今天上了他們的網站參考了一下各種內容。 看起來2號最簡短, 完全符合最高指導原則.....但沒有提到"love" (到底需不需要在結婚那天表示一下愛啊? 那樣是不是會太八股呢) 不過除了沒有說愛, 第二句的這個" just as you are" and "above all others" 意境是挺不錯的!
當然, 我們兩個都沒有非常虔誠信仰,所以不論是牧師的講詞或誓言都一定是沒有提到任何宗教的"神"囉.... 牧師講什麼其實我都無所謂啦...比較重要的就是那段vow, 因為要讓我們兩個唸出來, 所以要考慮我們的英文發音和在那麼嚴肅的場合下是不是能夠唸的流利, 再加上我們平常都不習慣講一些很真誠的話語....又怕如果真的講得太真誠, 會自己感動的流眼淚

) 因此, "簡短" 是選這個vow的最高指導原則!
我選了三段:
1. I,_____, take you, _____,to be my wife/husband. I promise to be true to you in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health. I will love you and honor you all the days of my life.
2. I,_____, take you,_____, just as you are, above all others, to share my life.
3. My commitment is always to be there when you need me. I will comfort you and offer you the best person I know how to be from this day forward. Before these witnesses, freely and openly, I _____, give myself to you, _____.
真是要倒數計時一個月了....居然有點害怕.....
